Basil Brick Oven Pizza

The food is DELICIOUS. The pizza is tasty- I got a sopressata although I wish there were more cheese and less sauce this seems to be the standard thin crust brick oven style. Tastes delicious. And I ordered probably the most delicious mozzarella sticks (fried mozzarella) I have ever had in my life. Filling delectable and overall a definite hit. As someone who has lived in Astoria for 24 years and tried just about every pizza/ Italian cuisine in town- I will definitely be ordering from Basil brick oven again. Thanks!!

Likely one of the best pizza spots in all of NYC. The dough is great-tasting, the ingredients appear to be fresh. Everything I've ordered made me want to order more another day...yeah, that good!

I am pretty close to the restaurant (as many other restaurants) and normally the restaurants deliver my order at the end. Not this one. The pizza arrived so fresh and warm that it was almost like dining in. I was really surprised and satisfied!

The BEST! No matter what we order, or when we order, the food is virtually phenomenal. Pizza is best in the neighborhood or all of NYC, according to Timeout magazine. But, you must try the poached pear salad and the dinner entrees. The Italian style ribeye is... la migliore bistecca, mai!

This is hands-down the best pizza in Astoria (and I know a lot of people say that). The quality is superb, and their attention to detail is always on point. The Bianca pizza (with a side of tasty marinara sauce) is my weekly treat. Love Basil Pizza!

I LOVE the Diavola pizza. I ordered a cannoli too which was pretty good.
I like that they sell 12 inch pizzas (able to try a few different ones with friends, or order one when by yourself.)
On time both times I ordered and delivery guys were nice.

Asked for 12.30 delivery and it arrived 10 minutes earlier. The food looked great and my coworkers enjoyed the pizzas, meatballs, brocolli rabe and salads. Very happy with order.

1veggie pizza, 1 veggie calzone (ricotta) and 1 diavolo meat pizza. Ridiculously good. We would personally want the diavolo spicier but everything was still excellent!
